According to a new survey published at the annual meeting of the American Society of Urology, men who are considered addicted to pornography are less likely to have sexual relationships with consenting adults and are more likely to develop erectile dysfunction.
Researchers surveyed 312 men in a urology clinic in San Diego from 20 to 40 years old and found that 3.4% were more likely to masturbate porn through porn. Dr. Matthew Christman, Principal Investigator and Urologist at the San Diego Naval Medical Center, reported that his team found an actual statistical relationship between porn addiction and sexual problems.
Why is this important? A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2013 examined data from 439 men who visited an outpatient clinic for erectile dysfunction, and determined that one in four of these men was actually less than 40 years old. Moreover, half of these young people are young people. Men have severe ED cases.
"The incidence of organic causes of erectile dysfunction in this age group [2] needs to be explained that over time we have seen an increase in erectile dysfunction in this group," Crist Man pointed out. Although doctors and his team believe that "pornography can be a part of this puzzle," he said, their data does not indicate that porn addiction is the only reason for the increase.
Drugs and alcohol, smoking, obesity and health problems such as diabetes and heart disease can cause ED. Anxiety may also be an integral part; recent research supports the theory that young people are more prone to stress and anxiety than ever before.
Then this pairWhat does it mean for women, except for the fact that ED affects both people? Obviously, the impact of porn on women is the same as that of men. The researchers investigated a group of women of the same age and found no correlation between pornography and female sexual dysfunction.
But it's important to note that this study does not claim that watching pornography can have a negative impact on sexual behavior - in fact, if used moderately, it can have a positive impact on your sexual life.
Dr. Joseph Alukal, director of reproductive health at New York University, said visual stimuli usually increase sexual arousal in men and women. But he warned, "When they spend most of their time watching and masturbating porn, they are likely to become less interested in real-life sexual encounters."
So if you are performing When you are in trouble, you may know that the problem may be a psychological problem. “Sexual life is half in your body, half in your mind. It may not be a physical factor that drives behavior, but a psychological factor,” explains Alukal. “Therefore, it is important to understand the underlying problems that lead to sexual dysfunction before recommending a treatment plan.”
He also pointed out that pornography may lead to young, inexperienced impotence. Men are because they can set the tone for unrealistic expectations. Let's face it: most of us don't look like porn stars.

"They believe they should be able to do what happens in these movies, when they can't do it Will cause a lot of anxiety," Alukal said of the Chicago Tribune. Both Christman and Alukal urge men to seek help, and they worry that their pornography will cause their partners to be disappointed.
