Reflexology requires itching

Reflexology is an ancient art that can help you relax and relieve stress. The practitioner uses the gentle pressure of the thumb and fingers to stimulate specific points of reflection on the sole of the foot that are considered to correspond to each of your organs. Reflexologists believe that dysfunctional internal organs may present with physical symptoms, including itching. Reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure a disease, but is often used as a complementary treatment for many diseases, including those that cause itching, such as eczema. Consult your doctor before reflexology massage, especially if you are pregnant or have a serious illness such as diabetes or poor circulation.

Preliminary examination

Before starting any reflexology procedure, a skilled reflexology doctor first thoroughly examines each foot . The reflexologist will look for any abnormalities in your skin, as well as any areas of swelling, poor circulation, and infection. Precautions for infectious skin diseases, such as athlete's foot infections, can spread to other parts of the foot and to the hands of the foot masseur. The reflection point of the organ located on the right side of the body corresponds to the reflection point on the right foot, and the corresponding point of the left side organ is located on the left foot. Skin diseases that cause itching, such as eczema and psoriasis, usually treat each foot with sufficient points of recording by stimulating adrenal reflexes.

Adrenal reflex points

Your skin is itchy, also known as pruritus, which is caused by an inflammatory reaction. It can affect a small piece of skin or most areas of the body. Complex conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, celiac disease and lupus can cause itchy skin. Itching reflexology centers on the pressure points that stimulate the adrenal glands. It is located on the inside of each foot, in the midsole, under the ball of the big toe. Because the adrenal gland produces cortisone, it can relieve the inflammatory process and relieve itching.

Other Reflection Points

In reflexology, the body is considered a whole. At the same time stimulate the adrenal gland on each foot to relieve itching, other r reflexology points can also be used. Laura Norman, "Foot First: Guide to Reflexology"The authors say that your reflexologist may work for the thyroid gland above your big toe joint ball to improve overall skin health, as well as your kidneys, the adrenal glands found below the diagonal, helping to eliminate toxins. If your itching is caused by dry skin, stimulating the adrenal glands and kidneys may also help your body maintain proper water balance.

Notes

Reflexology is basically a safe procedure, but sometimes you should not let your feet work. If your feet, open ulcers or wounds, or blood clots in your legs or room, avoid reflex therapy with gout. If you have poor blood circulation or any type of arthritis, consult your doctor before receiving reflexology. If you are pregnant and your obstetrician allows you to receive treatment, ask the reflexologist to avoid acupuncture points associated with the ovaries and uterus.
