Ganthoda & Magnesium

Magnesium is the fourth richest mineral found in the human body. In order to stay healthy, you must take the recommended daily magnesium intake on a regular basis. Ganthoda is an Indian spice used in Ayurvedic medicine as well as savory dishes and teas for flavor and medicinal purposes. Ganthoda should not be mistaken for Tagar Ganthoda, English is Valerian Root.

Use of magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that can be used with calcium Repair bones, regulate muscle contraction and balance blood pressure. As for healthy adult males as of 2012, the recommended daily allowance for magnesium is 420 mg and for women 320 mg.

Ganthoda is a powder made from long pepper roots. This powder has several other names, including pipramul and peepramul; however, ganthoda is a word in India. According to Spices Online, Ganthoda powder is a natural blend of ginger powder, water and jiggery in India for the treatment of stomach upset and joint pain. Ganthoda powder is used in many Indian recipes and teas as Ayurvedic treatments.

Comprehensive use

Individuals who want to increase their magnesium intake to prevent bone problems may find the greatest benefit of drinking milk or the consumption of milk-based dairy products. This is because some milk-based d dairy products contain calcium and magnesium, and they work together in this respect. For people with lactose intolerance or irritable bowel syndrome, this may not be ideal because milk can cause a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms. Although no studies have proven its effectiveness, some people add milk powder to milk to alleviate these discomforts.
