Scientists think they A study published in Nature Cell Biology found how hair stem cells can be activated in mice to grow, and even two experimental drugs that ultimately cure baldness are designed. What is the secret of activation? One substance in cells is called lactic acid. confused? All you really need to know is that scientists have shown that increasing lactic acid in follicular stem cells stimulates the activation of hair follicle stem cells and promotes hair production through genetically engineered mice and disease studies. Astonishing!

"Before, no one knew that increasing or decreasing lactic acid would have an effect on hair follicle stem cells," explains co-author of the study by Professor Molecular, Cell and Development William Lowry. Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. “Once we see how changing mouse lactic acid production affects hair growth, it leads us to look for potential drugs that can be applied to the skin and have the same effect.”

The researchers found two drugs that were encouraged. Hair follicle stem cells promote lactic acid production when applied to mouse skin: The first (referred to as RCGD423) directly increases production of lactic acid. Another drug (called UK5099) works in the opposite way. It prevents another cellular material called pyruvate from entering the mitochondria, which leads to the production of lactic acid in hair follicle stem cells and hair growth.

Please keep in mind that neither of these experimental drugs have been tested by the human body or passed the FDA. But scientists hope that the study could eventually help millions of men and women who suffer from hair loss, which can be caused by a variety of factors, including nutrition, genetics, hormones and aging.

If Kayl is like an Instagram stara Itsines, the 26-year-old Australian trainer and creator of the Bikini Body Guide (BBG), recently discovered that she has hair loss due to heredity, and you may want to consider using it whenever you want.

I hope that researchers will find ways to treat baldness and hair loss in the near future, but before that, there are ten best hair loss treatments.
